- Vehicle systems & reporting malfunctions

CDL Behind-the-Wheel Training
CDL Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) training consists of comprehensive hands-on training in which students physically learn to inspect and safely operate a commercial truck-tractor combination vehicle. CDL BTW training is performed on our private driving range and on public roads.
CDL BTW instruction enables students to put their commercial driver knowledge into practice and develop their operation skills. Students will practice basic to advanced backing and driving maneuvers, and learn to safely navigate city streets and the expressways. These subjects provide essential commercial driver skills training necessary to fulfill FMCSA ELDT criteria, and prepares students for the state required CDL skills test.
